PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shedding motion equipped with a means for controlling a shedding amount, capable of carrying out stable shedding motion and correctly and surely carrying out change of shedding amount. SOLUTION: This shedding motion in loom comprises a driving force transmission mechanism equipped with an oscillating lever, a reciprocating member and a link connecting the oscillating lever to the reciprocating member and capable of changing engaging position to the oscillating lever in lever length direction of the oscillating lever and an actuator for displacing the link to length direction of the oscillating lever. The actuator is arranged outside a system of the driving force transmission mechanism and connected to the link so as to allow reciprocating motion of the link accompanying oscillating motion of the oscillating lever.
