PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deodorant having an excellently deodorizing effect on a causative agent, especially trimethylamine constituting an offensive odor. SOLUTION: This deodorant is characterized by comprising at least one coloring matter as a deodorant component selected from the group consisting of yellow 4, yellow 203, yellow 202 (1), Blue 1, cochineal coloring matter, Water Violet 5, Aminyl Yellow E-3GL and C.I. Reactive Brown 8.
