PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the peak value of a power supply current that flows during a latch operation. SOLUTION: A latch signal generation circuit 33 provided in a horizontal driver IC30 supplies two latch signals LAA and LAB having different timings to latches 34a and 34b, respectively in synchronism with external strobe signals STB. Thus, every half of data signals of an output is outputted to a level shifter 35 with different timings, the peak value of the power supply current supplied to the IC is dispersed into two and the peak value is reduced.
