PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation without having a slimy feeling and creaky feeling on applying it, having a smooth use feeling and tension touch feeling and excellent in skin humidity-retaining effect and skin-tightening effect. SOLUTION: This skin lotion is obtained by incorporating 1 kind or >=2 kinds of polyacrylic acid-based polymers and 1 kind or >=2 kinds of sea alga extracts simultaneously. As the polyacrylic acid-based polymer, a carboxyvinyl polymer is preferable and as the sea alga extract, the extract of the sea algae belonging to red alga, especially the sea alga belonging to the order of Gigartina tenella is preferably used.
