PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermostatic blackbody tester so as to quickly carry out adjustment according to a sensed temperature of a blackbody by inserting a probe of a manufactured ear type clinical thermometer into the black body. SOLUTION: This thermostatic blackbody tester is provided with a constant temperature bath and a blackbody. The constant temperature bath is sealed to be kept at a constant temperature, and when a hollow metallic blackbody is immersed in the constant temperature bath, the inside and the outside of the blackbody are dyed in black. Because a sealed structure consisting of a metallic cover heat insulating material, a plurality of gaskets, a reflection mirror, and a gasket ring is constructed, adjustment work can be carried out quickly and properly according to a sensed temperature of the blackbody on the basis of effectively condensed and saturated infrared thermal radiation inside the blackbody receiving heat when the probe of the manufactured ear type clinical thermometer is inserted into the blackbody.
