PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the opening degree of a motor-operated valve quickly to the optimum opening degree. SOLUTION: In a refrigerating device, the opening degree of the motor- operated valve (44) is regulated based on a refrigerant temperature at the discharging side of a compressor (21). An initial period control unit (63) controls the motor-operated valve (44) so as to obtain a preset initial fixed opening degree until a predetermined period of time is elapsed immediately after starting operation. An opening degree deriving control unit (64) derives the optimum opening degree for starting of the motor-operated valve (44) based on the operating condition before executing a stationary control. When the predetermined period of time of the initial control unit (63) has elapsed, a shift control unit (65) opens the motor-operated valve (44) to the optimum opening degree of starting, derived by the opening degree deriving control unit (64), to shift the control into the stationary control before executing the stationary control.
