PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the incomplete combustion from being caused by the clogging of an air supply passage. SOLUTION: A main burner 22 and a pilot burner 25 are provided within a combustion chamber R2, and a thermocouple 26 which detects the flame condition of the pilot burner 25 is provided in a position where it contacts with the flame at normal combustion and does not contact with the flame at bad combustion caused by shortage of air supply. Moreover, a bottom plate 13 is provided with a flame arrester 27 where small holes 27b are made and a pilot air supply plate 35 which is positioned right below the pile burner 25 and where small openings 35b with smaller width than the small holes 27b of the flame arrester 27 are made. The pilot air supply plate 35 is clogged with dust earlier than the flame arrestor 27, and the pilot burner 25 burns abnormally prior to the main burner 22, and the thermocouple 26 detects it, and stops the combustion of the main burner 22.
