PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping material showing an excellent damping absorbing property which keeps 3 or more in loss tangent for one year after the manufacture. SOLUTION: A resin composition is obtained by kneading 100 pts.wt. of a chlorinated polyethylene (the chlorine contents are 40 wt.%), 150 pts.wt. of a chlorinated paraffin (the chlorinated compound contents are 50 wt.%, average carbon number = 14), and 50 pts.wt. of a chlorinated paraffin (43 wt.% chlorinated compound contents, average carbon number = 25) using a rolling kneading machine. A sheet damping material which is 1000μm in thickness is made by pressing the composition at 120 deg.C.
