plastic material working. SUBSTANCE: the machine has the first and second opposite slabs at least partially enveloped by an embracing device. A hoisting gear is positioned on one of the slabs, the first or second one, remote from the embracing device. The coupling device has a tightening member coupled to the embracing device and installed on the whole transversely relative to the slabs. The coupling device has also a transverse member passing between the hoisting gear and the tightening mechanism. The tightening member has an adjustable length for adjusting the level of the degree of rise of the force built up by the machine. Besides, to prevent a lateral loading of the hoisting gear, the tightening member is hinge-joined both to the embracing device and to the transverse member.
