PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a control method for pressure in a negative pressure accumulator 24 receiving negative pressure pSR via an intake conduit 22 in a pneumatically operated servo assembly of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine, in the direction of further improving a consumed fuel amount and a discharge characteristic of the internal combustion engine or the direction of reducing load of an intake pump. SOLUTION: In a stopping state of a servo assembly where the servo assembly is not operated and is not expected to be operated, a relatively high desired pressure p1 is predetermined for the negative pressure accumulator. In a state where the servo assembly is operated or is expected to be operated, a relatively low desired pressure p2 is predetermined.
