PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly flexible bottle filling apparatus supporting PET bottles of various sizes or various forms. SOLUTION: The apparatus relates to the bottle filling apparatus 102 for filling a liquid into a PET bottle, which includes a liquid tank 28, a rotary post 30 which integrally rotates with the liquid tank, filling valves 26 provided with a filling port facing downward on a bottom of the liquid tank in an arrangement where the valves are distant via equal angles for filling the liquid into the bottle, and a hanging column 118. The hanging column has a hook for hooking and hanging one of two-stage necks of an upper end opening of the bottle for locking so that the upper end opening of each bottle is positioned immediately below each filling valve and rises/lowers with a predetermined difference in height while rotating together with the rotary post. The hanging bottle is raised/lowered according to a rotation of the rotary post, thereby bringing the upper end opening of the bottle into contact with the filling port of the filling valve, opening it, and then releasing it for closing the filling port. While the bottle is rotated once together with the rotary post, a predetermined quantity of the liquid is led into the bottle.
