摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimension measuring apparatus, for shim selection, in which dimension measurement between inner race end faces of a pair of taper roller bearings and a dimension measurement, from the top part of a side bearing fitting and insertion part up to the inner race end face on the rear side of a drive pinion, can be performed by one apparatus. SOLUTION: The dimension measuring apparatus for shim selection is constituted to be provided with a positioning part X, in which a differential-gear assembly is positioned by directing a bearing part 6 for pinion support toward the upper side and by directing an opening 3a toward the lower side; a bump mechanism 20 with which first bump parts 35a, 35b are abutted against the top parts of side bearing fitting and insertion parts 8, 8, an outer tube 80 by which a second bump part 44 is bumped to the inner race end face of the taper roller bearing 5; a clamping mechanism 60 which is coupled to a bump member 68, so as to be pinched via a draw bar 66 connected to an inner shaft 61 built in the outer tube; a measuring part 85 which measures a part between the sandwiched inner race end parts and a second measuring part 90 which measures a part between the top parts of the parts 8, 8 and the inner race end parts.
