PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil level gauge capable of realizing the reduction of the total manufacturing cost including the equipment cost and the material cost, and being three-dimensionally and flexibly deflected. SOLUTION: A main body 10 is formed by cutting a cylindrical resin material having the elastic flexibility by a proper length, a resin handle member 20 molded in advance, is press fit and assembled to a basic end part of the main body 10, and an oil measuring part 11 is formed on a tip part of the main body 10. The formation of the main body 10 by cutting the cylindrical resin material having the elastic flexibility by a proper length, dispenses with the preparation of various kinds of molds which is necessary for a conventional product formed by the injection molding, reduces the equipment cost, prevents the production of chips as the adjustment of a length of the main body 10 is unnecessary, and reduces the material cost by using the material without waste. Further as the main body 10 is formed by the cylindrical resin material having the elastic flexibility, the body can be three-dimensionally (cubically) deflected.
