PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the disadvantage of the conventional technique that, when a light shielding material is stuck in a deviated state, brightness becomes uneven and visibility is deteriorated, because light leakage occurs or part of a displaying opening is shaded. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is provided with an opening made through the outer shell of the air conditioner, a light-transmissive displaying material having a projecting section to be put in the opening in the air conditioner, the light shielding material which is brought into contact with the displaying material. The air conditioner is also provided with an illuminant and a light shielding wall having an opening faced to the displaying material around the illuminant. The displaying material has a projection having the same cross-sectional shape and center axis as those of the projecting section which is put in the opening on its illuminant-side surface. |
