PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the temperature of the electrical equipment of an outdoor unit exceeds an allowable temperature even in the condition in which an operating current (I) is low due to the small number of revolution (r) of an outdoor blower at the time of reheat dehumidifying operation so as to cause inconvenience to the electrical equipment of the outdoor unit in a conventional air conditioner. SOLUTION: An air conditioner of this invention is characterized by having the control of changing the number of revolution (r) of an outdoor blower correspondingly to the operating current (I) detected by an operating current- detecting means and protecting the electrical equipment of an outdoor unit.
