PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the driving element from being thermally destructed by heat generation or temperature rise, to eliminate the necessity of through-hole perforating on a printed board and to reduce the cost of a product by increasing the heat capacity of the driving element so as to improve heat dissipation and to use a compact driving element. SOLUTION: The closed type polygon scanner has a housing with a reference surface for fitting, a rotor on which a polygon mirror is fixed, a motor for rotating the rotor, a bearing part for supporting the rotor, the printed board electrically connected to the winding coil of the motor and integrally constituted of a driving circuit of the motor, and a cover provided with a window for making laser light incident/outgo on/from the polygon mirror. The rotor is arranged in closed space, circuit elements are mounted on the surface of the printed board which is opposed to the rotation part of the motor and a part or all of faces opposed to the housing are sealed and fixed in the housing. |
