<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement reliability by opening a small window in the middle of a primary conductor, placing a magnetic sensor for separating disturbance noise and signal and canceling thermal drift, so as to avoid scattering of magnetic field measurement to positive and negative leading to large measurement errors and requiring high accuracy, depending on the position accuracy for an MI element, because the magnetic field is zero at the center, when putting the MI element in the center. SOLUTION: A small window 2 is provided in the middle of the primary conductor 1 and a magnetic sensor consisting of a pair of the thin film MI elements 3 and 3' with different detection sensitivity directions is placed in the small window 2. By arranging one magnetic sensor and the other sensor, so as to have respective detection sensitivity in different directions, disturbance noise in the sensor detection sensitivity direction can be canceled, and a current sensor using the MI elements 3 and 3' capable of making compact can be provided.</p> |
