SOLUTION: In an optical fiber line 101, a first optical fiber 111 is fusion spliced to a second optical fiber 121 at a splicing part 131. In an optical fiber line 102, a first optical fiber 112 is fusion spliced to a second optical fiber 122 at a splicing part 132. In an optical fiber line 103, a first optical fiber 113 is fusion spliced to a second optical fiber 123 at a splicing part 133. In an optical fiber line 104, a first optical fiber 114 is fusion spliced to a second optical fiber 124 at a splicing part 134. The splicing parts are housed within the optical cable 100 along with the first optical fibers and the second optical fibers. In the first optical fibers, wavelength dispersion in a signal optical wavelength is positive, while in the second optical fibers, wavelength dispersion is negative.</p>
