PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for beverage can opening with which a pull-top used in opening the can is easily opened and with which beverage flowing out from the opening does not spill from the edge of a top outer peripheral bump for easy drinking. SOLUTION: This relates to cover 1 for a can opening. The outer diameter of the cover 1 is small enough to be stored in the top arc frame 3 of a beverage can 10 whose opening 15 can be opened by pulling up a pull-top 11 fixed on the can 10 top face. The cover 1 is made of a thin elastic panel, and when a notch 2 formed from the outer periphery to the center of the cover 1 is fitted to the bottom side of the pull-top 11, the cover 1 is stored in the arc frame 3 of the can 10. The arc frame 3 in a prescribed length provided along the opposite outer periphery of the notch 2 has a height which equals to the depth of the outer peripheral edge 13 of the can 10, and the cover 1 along the inner side near the center of the arc frame 3 is formed with an opening 4 whose diameter is smaller than that of the opening 10. |
