PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which changes the glossiness of a recording medium, on which a toner image is formed and fixed, to four or more stages. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, at least, an image carrier means which carries an image, an image write means which writes the image, a developing means which develops a latent image, and a fixing means which fixes a toner image are provided to form an image. This image forming apparatus is provided with a glossiness setting part which sets the glossiness of the recording medium, on which the toner image is fixed, to four or more stages and a control means which controls the image forming device, and the control means is provided with a parameter determination part which obtains parameters of respective means related to image formation on the basis of setting of the glossiness in the glossiness setting part and a driving control part which drives and controls respective means in accordance with parameters obtained by the parameter determination part. |
