PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for motor-driven power steering device capable of easily setting the inclination of the steering torque relative to the steering angle, easily establishing the adaption of a buildup feeling, generating an action to adjust the assist current command value so that the steering torque becomes identical to the target steering torque even if the road surface reaction force lowers or the steering torque is decreased or increased by the viscosity or inertia because of a motor, speed reducer, etc., and generating a stable steering feeling. SOLUTION: The target steering torque setting part 32 of a central processing unit(CPU) 21 of this control device 20 sets a target steering torque Th* on the basis of the steering angleθand car speed V. A current command value calculation part 31 calculates the assist current command value I on the basis of the steering torque Th, target steering torque Th*, and the current Im of a motor 6. The CPU 21 makes drive control of the motor 6 on the basis of the assist current command value I. |
