PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unevenness in the light quantity of a light source and to faithfully read and expose an original image. SOLUTION: This light guide device is equipped with the group of optical fibers 350, on which irradiating light from the light source 312 is made incident and which guides the light, and has a focusing member 352 bundling the incident port of the group of optical fibers 350 and light-shielding members 357 and 359 intercepting the light. Then, the members 357 and 359 are disposed in the center part of an optical axis L, leading to the group of optical fibers 350 from the light source 312, and the group of optical fibers 350 is disposed around the members 357 and 359, so that the light around the center of the optical axis is intercepted by the members 357 and 359.
