PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weak member separating device capable of easily separating a weak member stuck to an object. SOLUTION: This weak member separating device is provided with a winding roller 2 supporting a separating claw 3 in a freely projecting/receding manner; a linear driving means for linearly moving the winding roller 2 or an object A relatively; a separating claw opening/closing drive part 6 for driving the separating claw 3 in a freely projecting/receding manner; and a rotating drive means for driving the winding roller 2 in a rotating direction. The winding roller 2 is moved in a linear direction relatively to the object A to separate the tip of the weak member B from the object A, and the separating claw 3 is moved inward in the radial direction of the winding roller 2 to grip the tip of the weak member B between the separating claw 3 and the winding roller 2. In this state, the winding roller 2 is moved relatively to the object A, and in this process, the winding roller 2 is rotated to separate the weak member B from the object A and to wind it onto the outer peripheral surface of the winding roller 2.
