PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice guidance switching device which turns on and off a voice guidance as the voice guidance is needed and not needed. SOLUTION: A navigation control part 92 having received a signal from controllers 14 or 16 decides which of a touch signal and a click signal the signal is and reads in a voice guidance switching program from a storage medium 98 when the signal is the touch signal to decide whether the signal is from the controller 14 or 16. Further, the navigation control part 92 decides whether or not a vehicle is traveling according to the signal from a vehicle sensor 126 and runs or stops the voice guidance generating program according to the decision result.
