PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency lock device capable of preventing the movement of a bolt 7a on a door and allowing an emergency lock to act, even when an operation shaft 9 of a cylinder lock 4 mounted on a door 2 of a safe is drawn out or pressed in. SOLUTION: An emergency lock bar 41 upwardly energized by an energizing spring 42 to be engaged with a first lateral bar 19 operating the bolt, and a transmitting body 45 freely fitted to the operating shaft 9 at its intermediate part are mounted on a rear face of the door 2, and the transmission body 45 is connected by a control body projecting on the rear face of the door 2 at the radial outside with respect to a position of the operating shaft 9. One end part of the transmission body 45 is locked on the emergency lock bar 41, so that the movement of the emergency lock bar 41 in the locking direction is restricted in a normal time, and the movement of the emergency lock bar 41 in the locking direction is permitted only when the operating shaft 9 is removed from the transmission body 45 in receiving the attract.
