PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing device for underwater sonar capable of precisely finding even of a static object. SOLUTION: This signal processing device for underwater sonar is provided with at least one pair of receiver elements 1-1 to 1-2n for receiving the reflection sound of the ultrasonic wave generated underwater, interphase processing units 25-1 to 25-n for computing a phase on the basis of the interphase of the signal received by the receiver elements 1-1 to 1-2n, and a phase judging means 51 judging that the reflection sound is a reverberation when the phase is spreading and judging that the reflection sound is an echo due to the object when the phase is concentrated to a certain range on the basis of the plural phase characteristics.
