PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable or thermosetting resin whose hardened product can satisfy performances such as hardness and heat resistance at high levels, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: An epoxyacrylate resin (I) expressed by general formula (I) wherein, X is a unit shown by formula (Ia) [in the formula (Ia), R is H or a 1-5C normal or branched alkyl]; and n is an integer from 0 to 20}.
