PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which is formed with the heat of one storage chamber being hardly transmitted to the other storage chamber. SOLUTION: In a refrigerator formed so that a middle partition made of a synthetic resin to partition the interior of a chamber into a plurality of sections is provided with a partition surface to form one chamber and a partition surface to partition the interior of the two partition surfaces into the front and the rear by interconnecting the two partition surfaces, and since a hole is formed in the partition part of the middle partition, a passage for heat flowing from one chamber to the other chamber is narrowed and heat can hardly flow, and heat insulation performance of the partition part can be improved. Thereby, a temperature difference between chambers making contact with a middle partition can be easily kept at a given temperature and an energy consumption amount can be suppressed. Since thermal conductivity is lower as compared with that of the stainless material, a inflow amount of heat from the outside of a chamber to the interior of a chamber is suppressed to a low value and an electricity using amount of the refrigerator can be also reduced.
