PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always execute a suitable protection control irrespective of a capacity change of a compressor, in a refrigerating unit having a capacity controllable compressor. SOLUTION: A decision temperature of protection control is changed, in the response to an operating frequency of inverter compressor. When frequency is lower than 90 Hz, the decision temperature is set to 105 deg.C. When the frequency is 90 Hz or higher, the decision temperature is set to 120 deg.C. When a discharge tube temperature becomes the decision temperature or higher, a drooping control for forcibly reducing the frequency is executed as the protection control.
