PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative gas treating device which enables the complete oxidative treatment of carbon monoxide produced in the process of oxidative decomposition of a variety of hydrocarbon without enlarging the device. SOLUTION: In a regenerative gas treating device, a catalyst layer 41 which accelerates the oxidative treatment of carbon monoxide is made on the opposite side from the hearing chamber 3 in each regenerative layer 2. The carbon monoxide produced in the heating chamber 3 is oxidized with the catalyst layer 41, so even if a gas passage after the treatment is shortened, the discharge into the air of carbon monoxide can be avoided, and the device can be downsized.
