LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel lubricating oil composition which maintains shudder inhibiting performance even in long-term use and, simultaneously, has a high torque transfer capacity of a wet clutch and good transmission characteristics. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition comprises a lubricating oil base oil and one or more compounds to be selected from the group consisting of succinimide-modified compounds to be represented by formula (1) or formula (2) (wherein R1 and R2 may be the same or different from each other and are each an 8-30C hydrocarbon group; R3 and R4 may be the same or different from each other and are each a 1-4C hydrocarbon group; R5 is a hydrogen atom or a 1-30C hydrocarbon group; and n is an integer of 1-7).
