PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material which ensures both vividness of hues and shelf stability of color images. SOLUTION: A color developing agent of formula (1) (where X is H or a substituent and Z is carbamoyl, acyl, alkoxycarbonyl or aryloxycarbonyl) is incorporated into at east one photographic constitutive layer of a silver halide color photographic sensitive material.
