PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-shielding photosensitive material roll formed by hardly removably fitting the cylindrical parts of flank light-shielding members to the winding core of the photosensitive material roll, without occurrence of distortions. SOLUTION: This light-shielding photosensitive material roll is constituted in the following manner: the flank light-shielding members comprise annular light-shielding sheets 6 and hollow cylindrical members 7, which consist of flanges 12 having a circular hole of approximately the same diameter as the inner diameter of the winding core 2 of the photosensitive material roll in the central part and hollow cylindrical parts 11, rising from the edges of the circular holes; at least >=2 grooves 16 are formed on the inner surfaces of the hollow cylindrical parts of the hollow cylindrical members, in the longitudinal direction of the hollow cylindrical parts; toric recessed parts 13 are formed across level differences 14 in the base parts on the flange side of the hollow cylindrical parts; the annular light-shielding sheets 6 are arranged so as to come into contact with the winding core end faces of the photosensitive material roll; and the hollow cylindrical members 7 are fitted, in a manner such that the projecting parts 15 of the level differences formed in the hollow cylindrical parts come into contact with the inner surface of the winding core.
