The closure mechanism has a rotary spring lock (8) which is positioned on the flap-side and has a lock-bolt (4) on the housing side, in a recess (10) on the housing side. A cover (11,12), has a leaf on each side of the lock-bolt, and swivels back against spring force closes the recess. The cover and spring arrangement (13,14) at the same time as the flap are opened. At least one leaf (11) is rigidly joined to one end of a bracket (18) gripping over the lock-bolt and the other leaf. The other end is swivel mounted and has a spring (13) pre-tensioning it onto a thrust piece (19).
