<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work device and a work method for easily discriminating the position error of a jig fixing a work piece. SOLUTION: Palette position information showing the positions of respective palettes with respect to an NC machine tool MA, jig fitting tool position information showing the positions of the respective jig fitting tools with respect to the pallets, jig position information showing the position of the jig with respect to the jig fitting tools and work piece information showing the position of the work pieces with respect to the jigs are stored. At the time of working the work piece W by the NC machine tool MA based on transportation means information showing the palette assembled to a transportation means, the error is corrected based on the pallet kept by the NC machine tool MA, the jig fitting tool assembled to the palette, the jig assembled to the jig fitting tool, the work piece assembled to the jig, jig fitting tool/jig/jig fitting tool position information, jig position information and work piece information. Since the position error of the work piece with respect to the palette can automatically be discriminated, a work job is facilitated and work time is shortened.</p> |
