<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall- or ceiling-hung air conditioner not reduced in air drawing rate even if it is installed such that the upper surface of the body casing thereof equipped with inlets is located adjacent to the ceiling. SOLUTION: A body casing 1 having inlets 4 at the upper surface thereof is provided with a through hole 11 between the upper portions of both the rear sides thereof, which through hole 11 is provided with a cylindrical suction channel 12 having suction holes 12a facing a lower inclined portion 7c constituting a heat exchanger 7 and vent holes 12b facing the inlets 4, and a filter 9 is fit between the lower inclined portion 7c and the suction holes 12a at the tip end portion 9a thereof bent downward.</p> |
