PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple and reliable fixation of a stopper in a guide device used for a driving device driven by electrical or fluid power. SOLUTION: In the guide device containing one or more guides 6 and 7, the guide 6 and 7 is provided with one or more travel routs constituted of orbits 16 and 17 specifying a bearing 18 capable of relatively moving for the guide 6 and 7, and with one or more stoppers 25 vertically disposed on a motion route 22. The stopper 25 is placed into a lateral slit 26 extending laterally to be perpendicular in a longitudinal direction of the motion route 22, wherein a slit plane 27a facing the direction of the bearing 18 works as a supporting plane of the stopper 25.
