PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a phase regulating means for improving the performance and refrigerating capacity of a pulse refrigerating machine or a capillary tube. SOLUTION: A refrigerating device is constituted of a compressor 40, a heat exchanger 50, a cold head section 32, a pulse tube 30, a capillary tube 10 connected to the tip end section 34 of the pulse tube and a buffer tank 20 while a matter to be cooled is received in a refrigerating chamber 60 to cool by the cold head. The capillary tube is constituted of two sections of A and B having different inner diameters or the capillary tube A section 12 connected to the tip end 34 of the pulse tube and the capillary tube B section 14 connected to the buffer tank. The inner diameter of the B section is larger than that of the A section of the capillary tube. When the improved capillary tube is employed, not only the phase regulation is facilitated but also a cooling efficiency is very high.
