PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably wear a hat body on the head without any shift. SOLUTION: This helmet comprises a chin strapping band 12 nearly hanging from both lateral peripheral edges of the hat body 1 to cover the head and continuous from the front side of each ear A2 to the chin A3, an occipital strapping band 13 passing nearly horizontally from the chin strapping band 12 on the lower side of each ear A2 and continuous to the occipital part A4 and a supporting strap 14 interposed between an occipital site of the occipital strapping band 13 and an occipital peripheral edge of the hat body 1 and supporting the occipital strapping band 13. Thereby, when the hat body 1 is worn on the head, the hat body 1 is supported by a supporting force along the chin strapping band 12 toward the just downward chin A3 and the fulcrum supported by the head is a little toward the front side. As a result, the shift to the rear can be prevented. The hat body 1 is prevented from shifting to the front by the occipital strapping band 13. Since the occipital strapping band 13 is hung and supported on the side of the occipital side of the hat body 1 by the supporting strap 14, the hat body 1 does not move in the vertical directions. Thereby, the hat body 1 can stably be worn on the head.
