PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous method for stereoselectively producing an acrylonitrile derivative having oxime group useful as an agricultural/horticultural insecticidal/miticidal agent. SOLUTION: This method for producing the objective compound of the general formula (I) is such as to be shown in the reaction formula (wherein, A is cyano, an alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, a phenylalkyl, phenoxy, a phenoxyalkyl, phenylthio, a phenylthioalkyl, phenylsulfinyl, a phenylsulfinylalkyl, phenylsulfonyl, a phenylsulfonylalkyl, anilino, an anilinoalkyl, thienyl, a thienylalkyl, pyridyl or a pyridylalkyl; B is phenyl or a heterocyclic group; X is a halogen atom; R1 is an alkyl; and R2 is an alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio).
