PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cylindrical container with decorating rules with excellent displaying effect in design or a decorative appearance by making folding lines (a) and (a) unobtrusive, which project on the outer peripheral surface side of a drum portion plate 2 formed in cylindrical shape, or by reducing a distortion of the container into a lemon shape in a horizontal section. SOLUTION: In this paper cylindrical container, in which a blank of the rectangular drum portion plate 2, provided with the folding lines (a) and (a) in the vertical direction, is ridge-folded at the folding lines (a) and (a) and its right and left side edge portions are bound together to form into a flat cylindrical shape, before a top surface plate 3 and a bottom surface plate 4, both of which have disc shapes, are mounted and bound on the top and the bottom peripheral portions on the inner peripheral surface side of the drum portion plate 2, respectively, to form the drum portion plate 2 into a cylindrical shape, the paper cylindrical container with decorating rules is provided with a plurality of vertical decorating rules (b) to (b) with the same structure as the folding lines (a) and (a) and a plurality of decorating rules (c) to (c) with various patterns, respectively, on the blank of the rectangular drum portion plate 2.
