PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for packaging agricultural products which achieves laborsaving the operation of packing process of the agricultural products and improves performance of packaging process of the agricultural products and also enhances sureness of packaging process and capable of packaging with a Japanese paper or the like which is easily breakable. SOLUTION: This apparatus of packaging the agricultural products is equipped with an agricultural product carrying means carrying intermittently a receiving tray having a placing part for the agricultural product, a raising means wherein left and right end parts of a packaging sheet in the carrying direction are raised after the front and rear parts of the rectangular packaging sheet in the carrying direction which places the agricultural product and is set on the placing tray are raised, a first bending means bending the front and rear surfaces of the packaging sheet in the carrying direction which are raised by the raising means, a second bending means bending the left and right side surfaces of the packaging sheet in the carrying direction which are raised by the raising means, the packaging sheet is characterized by packaging the agricultural product on the receiving tray while the packaging sheet is placed on the receiving tray with its diagonal lines directed almost the same direction as the carrying direction of the agricultural product carrying means. The raising means is provided with, for example, the receiving tray for the agricultural product, the means raising the front and rear end parts, a means supporting the packaging sheet, a means tucking the packaging sheet in, the means raising the left and right end parts, or the like, the first raising means is provided with a means bending the rear surface and a means bending the front surface, and the second bending means is provided with a means bending the right side surface, a means bending the left side surface and a fixing means.
