PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device capable of driving a component in accordance with the location of a crankshaft. SOLUTION: A method to drive an external output stage 3 having at least one control device 1 through a data bas. After the output stage receives an output signal from the control device 1, the output stage outputs an operation signal to the data bus. The control signal is received by the control device 1 and used for synchronization between the control device 1 and the output stage 3.
