摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem associated with a conventional method for realizing a high speed response of the liquid crystal panel of a liquid crystal display device that correction corresponding to operational environment can not be conducted since a correction value is always constant as long as image data are the same even though a frame rate and environmental temperature are changed. SOLUTION: Plural look up tables 8 are provided which output correction data to correct image data so as to speed up the response of the transmissivity of liquid crystals employing two inputs, i.e., inputted image data and the image data that are one frame before and outputted from an image memory 1 storing the above inputted image data. One of the data of the tables 8 are selected from the inputted image data based on the frame rate detected by a frame rate detection circuit 7 so as to generate correction data. A liquid crystal panel 6 is driven by the correction data so that the response to a gradation change is speeded up.
