PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load binder having a function of preventing over- fastening of a belt, by allowing a worker to instantly detect the fact that a fastening force of the belt reaches a set load. SOLUTION: In this ratchet buckle type load binder, a pair of load adjusting side plates of a pair of movable side plates turning integrally with a shaft having a groove are journalled relatively turnably by a connecting shaft, an operating handle is laterally disposed at the tip of the load adjusting side plates, the connecting shaft is provided with the load adjusting mechanism comprising a friction plate, a belleville spring, a washer, a reverse screw nut, a connecting cylinder body engaged with the outside of the nut, and the load adjusting side plates fold when load by the operating handle exceeds the set load.
