PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing 21 and a cage 27, which can hold rolling elements 26 correctly without deformation, warp or abnormal wear, can be machined easily, and can narrow a space between both raceway surfaces 24 and 25 of the inner ring 22 and outer ring 23 compact. SOLUTION: The cage 27 retaining a plurality of rolling elements 26 at the same angular interval on a diameter, which are located between both raceway surfaces 24 and 25 of the inner ring 22 and outer ring 23, is made of a hardened steel plate stamped such as punching or drawing. For the hardened plate, bainite steel plate is desirable and the Vickers hardness of Hv 280 to 460 is advisable.
