PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a space for drawing out an aircleaner element can not be obtained because the aircleaner element is also enlarged in accordance with enlargement of a hydraulic back hoe. SOLUTION: In the construction machine provided with an engine mounted on the upper revolving body, the air cleaner filtrating air supplied into the engine, an engine room in which the engine is arranged, and a work attachment fitting part arranged in front of the engine room and at the rear side of the work attachment fitting part the air cleaner is arranged so that the inserting/ detaching part of the air cleaner element turns to the work attachment fitting part.
