PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a cationic aqueous solution of a thermosetting resin having an excellent preservation stability in a high solid content. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a cationic aqueous solution of the thermosetting resin holds a crude cationic aqueous solution of the thermosetting resin obtained by reacting a polyamide polyamine and an epihalohydrin at 30-70 deg.C while adjusting pH at 2-3.8.
