PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device capable of improving the operability and maintainability of a processing frame, preventing a photoreceptor from being exposed even in a state where the processing frame including plural photoreceptors is drawn out, and preventing the lowering of photoreceptive characteristic and the damage of the surface of the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: This color image forming device is constituted so that the processing frame 8 where at least plural image carriers 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1K are arranged and integrated can be drawn out to the outside of a device main body A, and the peripheries of the plural image carriers 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1K are surrounded by at least electrifying means 2Y, 2M, 2C and 2K, developing means 4Y, 4M, 4C and 4K and cleaning means 6Y, 6M, 6C and 6K in a state where the processing frame 8 is drawn out.
