PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal control device with a high reliability capable of outstandingly improving an availability factor. SOLUTION: The signal control device comprises a plurality of train detection devices having different kinds; a detection means for detecting a damage of those train detection devices; and a control means for controlling a signal based on a train detection signal of the remaining normal train detection device except for the train detection devices, judged as a damage, of a plurality of train detection devices.
